Genre Lighting Research and Analysis (Group Assignment)

 Genre Lighting Mindmap Poster

On February 7th, 2022, my group and I started to discuss the outline of what the intended genre for our film was going to be. With this, we were prompted to answer 5 questions to get a basic understanding of what genre we will use and the lighting techniques that would be best to support our film opening genre. Additionally, we chose 2 films that were associated with our genre to research and analyze the lighting techniques used.

1. The intended genre of our film is action
2. 2 themes associated with my film's genre are fighting scenes and explosions
3. Dramatic and scary tones are often associated with my film's genre
4. High-key lighting, three-point lighting, and hard & sift lighting best support my action genre
5. The two films that I will be researching and analyzing is Dr. Strange and Captain America: Civil War

As a result, we created an animated logo that represents the idea of "Power Prod...
